Book: Not If I See You First Author: Eric Lindstrom  Publisher: Harper Collins Pages: 405 Genre: Young Adult and Contemporary  Rating: ⭐⭐⭐/ 5 Recommend: Yes   "Don’t treat me like I’m stupid or a child. Blind doesn’t mean brain damaged." Snapshot:  Parker Grant is an average high school student, and she doesn't need her vision to see what the other person is up to. This story is not about blindness. It is about a girl who is blind. To survive in this world, Parker has some rules like  Rule #1: Don't deceive her, especially using her blindness, especially in public Rule #2: Don't touch her without asking or warning her, she can't see it coming, and she will always be surprised and will probably hurt you.  . . Image
Click Here to purchase a copy from Amazon. Book : Ella Enchanted  Author: Gail Carson Levine Publisher: Harper Collins  Pages: 239 Genre: Fantasy and Fiction  My Rating: 3.75/5 stars  Recommend: Definitely yes! When Ella was born, she was bestowed with a gift of obedience and the unwary fairy Lucinda didn't realize that she lay a curse on her. Now Ella will always be obedient to others and listens to every order directed to her; finish the cake, hop on one foot, kill the prince, betray her kingdom. She is waiting to be free from the curse so, she can be herself and has the power to say no.  "My gift is obedience. Ella will always be obedient. Now stop crying, child." I stopped. Review: As a child, I loved reading fairy tales, but with time it occurred to me that fairy tales usually dispirit women and expect them to behave like a typical princess and someday a prince will save her from misery. Ella Enchanted is a re-telling...

“You want to hear a riddle, you say? I know a very good one. It begins, why is a raven like a writing desk?’ Recommend:  Yes, but read Alice in Wonderland before reading this, and then you'll definitely gonna enjoy it. Rating:  ★★★/5 stars Blurb:  This book is like a prequel of Alice in Wonderland and talks about the story of Queen of Hearts (Cath) and How she became the most iconic evil queen. But before this, she was just a sweet girl, who only dreams of opening a bakery with her friend Mary Ann. The story further moves with how she fell in love with a guy named Jest and surviving in a land full of mystery, magic, and monsters. If we talk about Jest, he is indeed an interesting character carrying piles of secrets with him. Review: I  personally find the book okayish, for me, the story needs to have something sparkling which should keep me hooked till the very end. But it did not happen here. Also, I have a 100-page rule in which I don't ju...
