Trilogies I want to read in 2017- PART 1

Image
Trilogies I want to read in 2017 We all set reading goals at the beginning of the year, and like everyone, I set to read 35 books in 2017. I know this goal is easy as pie, but I don't want to burden myself and read as many books as I possibly can. So my friend and I decided to make a list of the Trilogies we want to read in 2017. Also, these are the that trilogies we haven't started reading (not even the first book) and want to dive into them as soon as we can. This blog will be in two parts: I (Anushka) would write the first part, and Yashvi will write the second part.  Okay, I have five trilogies that I eagerly want to read, and most of them are fantasy. Without any further ado, here's the list: 1. Anna and the French Kiss by  Stephanie Perkins  In this, we have first book Anna and the French Kiss; the second book is Lola and the Boy Next Door and lastly Isla and the Happily Ever After.  These are the contemporary young adult genre, and I...

JUNE WRAP UP- 3

[CONTD.] The Mortal Instruments- City of Ashes (Cassandra Clare) Love and power are the deadliest temptations.  Haunted by her past, Clary is dragged  deeper into New York City's  terrifying  underworld of demons and Shadowhunters -  but can  she control her feelings for a boy who can never be hers? Thoughts:  The tension in the book is so great that you feel like the characters are literally going to break from the strain. Clary's mother is still in a coma and her relationships with Simon and Jace are fragile.  It's ever changing who is my favorite. I'll be thinking  Isabelle is my favorite wait...no Max he's really cute but....Luke is great...then again Simon is just so painfully loyal  , so I still don't have a clear favorite. I think it's because each and everyone of the characters have their own great scenes, so it's close to impossible to choose.  Jace is growing on me and Valentine is definitely get...

JUNE WRAP UP- 1

June was a very good reading month for me as I had been piling up books since a frigging YEAR to read. I admit that I'm a book hoarder but a proud one! Last year I wasn't much into reading books because of college and other things, but I used to buy books and keep em' so that I could hog them all at once (but only when I thought I was ready to get into my 'avid reader' phase again!) And that happened this JUNE, so I welcomed Summer with open arms and LOTS of books to read. (Yes this was me this summer) Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to read a lot in the month of July as it'll be a really busy month for me because I'm interning under a Criminal Lawyer (WHAAAAA??) and I also have other things to do, but hey, you never know, maybe I'll read a fair amount of books this month too? So I read around 12 books and 1 e-book this month! This wrap- up will be done in 3 parts, because 13 books and so much to say!! (PART 1/3) Per...
