I'm finally out of my reading slump. I've been on a reading spree after I completed the Trials of Apollo- The Hidden Oracle. (Thank you Rick Riordan!) I'm focusing on just reading and reviewing this summer, and nothing else, as it is I have a lot of catching up to do. My Partner (who owns the other half of this blog) and I, we have plenty of books which we received from publishing houses and independent authors and which are yet to be reviewed. Hopefully we'll strike them off of our list SOON. Irregardless of my reading slump, I went ahead and bought some books (the books you already have are never enough, there's always a new book which NEEDS to be read). I’ve been on a reading slump for so long as I had so many obligations and commitments that I had to take care of. April was a happy month for me, as my BEST FRIEND tied the knot with the man of her dreams (there aren’t enough emoticons to describe how I feel!). It was a big affair and as one might call- A BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDING. I had the time of my life and literally it got so hard for me to get out of that *wedding zone*. But then I got a reality check as our Finals approached. I had been scared as I wasn’t in the zone to get back to studies just yet. So yes that happened and our Finals took the whole month of May, and it was dreadful, pulling all-nighters, living and breathing on caffeine. But eventually it ended (fortunately) and then I was free! All through my exams I had this urge to drop whatever I was doing, or whichever subject I was preparing for and just pick up a book and start reading it. I had kept so many books on hold that I couldn’t wait to dive back into them. As so...

February Wrap Up February was a good month for reading, and we read six books in total, among which two were e-arcs. I honestly don't enjoy reading e-books, it also takes me ages reading these but I am getting better at it. So, without a further due let's set things moving!! The first book I read this month was  1. The Man Who Won the World by O.E Boroni Rating: 3.5/5 stars. I received an e-arc of this book from the author and I really liked this book. I received an E-arc of this book from the author for an honest review. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions that I have experienced while reading it. I find the book has such an intriguing story and eloquent. Though it is slow paced read, and it took me about 50 pages or so to get into it. But once I was into it, I could see the whole Korean drama in front of me. This wonderful historical fiction based in Korea during 900s takes you entirely in a different world. The story starts when the princess of Jihye disappeared from the palace and trying to survive outside the wall without getting into any troublesome situation. Obviously! That didn't happen, and when she got into trouble, a young boy (Choi Jiyong) saved her, Jiyong was a farmer and a clumsy boy living his happy life, and when he saved her, it all became topsy-turvy. Their relationship grew in the book, and it was so fun to read. The story has multiple POVs which gets confusing at the start but as so...
