ILLUMINAE by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff Review

Illuminae Review Blurb:   This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do. This afternoon, her planet was invaded. The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit. But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she  swore  she'd never speak to again.

The Man Who Won the World by O.E. Boroni- Review

I received an E-arc of this book from the author for an honest review. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions that I have experienced while reading it. I find the book has such an intriguing story and eloquent. Though it is slow paced read, and it took me about 50 pages or so to get into it. But once I was into it, I could see the whole Korean drama in front of me. This wonderful historical fiction based in Korea during 900s takes you entirely in a different world. The story starts when the princess of Jihye disappeared from the palace and trying to survive outside the wall without getting into any troublesome situation. Obviously! That didn't happen, and when she got into trouble, a young boy (Choi Jiyong) saved her, Jiyong was a farmer and a clumsy boy living his happy life, and when he saved her, it all became topsy-turvy. Their relationship grew in the book, and it was so fun to read. The story has multiple POVs which gets confusing at the start but as so
